This weekend we headed down to CBK Hayling Island on the south coast of the UK to ride and show off the 2014 Mutiny Kites and Axis Kiteboards. A planned demo event normally means sitting in the van or on the beach in either no wind or torrential rain. Lucky for us we had sun and wind both days. Saturday was windy enough for riders to enjoy the new S-Series and P-Series 10m and 12m back to back. The water conditions were great with small waves and kickers forming on the edge of a flat water lagoon. The European youth championships freestyle of 2014 were held on the Mediterranean coast, in the south of France at a place called Saint Pierre La Mer. The event ran from April the 17th till 21st. The event has 3 boys categories, ages 9-13, 14-15 and 16-19 years, and the girls comp has only one category 9-19 so there is a big range. In competitions often the girls are 17 and above. During this event I was 15, I turned 16 just after it and it's the third year in a row I was competing there. I hope there will be more younger girls starting to compete, it's fun to do.
